Best meats to eat while on contest diet?

I'm currently 13 weeks out from my comp.

My current source of protein is chicken morning mid morning afternoon tea and dinner

And either chicken, extra lean beef or kangaroo for lunch.

I cooked up 2 kgs of extra lean beef mince today and notice the amount of fat that was oozing out of the patties I made was quite a lot I thought.

My question: Is beef a good source of protein even though there is quite a lot of fat?

And what are your main protein sources you like to consume while contest dieting?

IDK how many of you guys are hunters but venison is a great replacement for beef. If you have to buy it, it gets expensiv quick. But per ounce its like 42 cals 1G of fat and 8G of protein

You need to look at the bigger picture.... If it fits your macros then eat it...

I eat bacon, cheese, ribeye steak etc... All fatty sources of protein.... But I hit my macros...

    It really is that simple...

Though it may fit your macros, all that saturated fat will still **** up your cardiovascular system.
