    Cheat meal question.

If your on a 300cal (random number) deficiet a day (2100/w), on your "cheat meal", say on a Saturday night, you still dont want to blow ur weekly number right?,ie; a fat burger, fries, ice cream and a six pack that adds to 3000cals, now you're over your deficiet by 900cal.

    Cheat meals are counter productive....

Plan in a weekly refeed where you consume roughly 150% of the carbs that you would normally be consuming on training days.... Keep the fats the same....
    Don't be a 'Bro'..... Believe nothing....Question everything

cheat meals will do exactly what u said above: take away from ur weekly deficit. u can offset it (this is where fasting can be useful) by fasting all day and then eating your cheat meal for dinner... ur macros will prob not line up but u should be able to keep from affecting your deficit too much if at all.. personally when strictly cutting i have maybe a cheat meal every 3-4 weeks.. they work better in maintenance diets

This is what I'd do if you have to have a cheat meal. Like 405 said, your macros will be off for that day, but it's not that big of a deal, unless you're training to step on stage.

I've always wondered this myself and was thinking the same thing you were. I try to have a cheat SNACK every day instead of a cheat meal. For example I'll have 1 cookie or just a heaping TBSP of ice cream. It seems to work pretty good for me. But I guess in the end whats the difference if I have 1 cookie every day or 7 cookies on one day. I'll always try to have oatmeal cookies or PB cookies to trick myself into thinking they are better for me when really the difference is miniscule
