    As of this week I am changing my workouts too. Most body parts are getting hit twice a week, but I am still only doing the same amount of sets and reps as I was when training once per week. Quads, hams and traps are only once a week still. It will look like this

    Sunday
    Hamstrings
    Back thickness
    Traps
    Biceps

    Tuesday
    Upper chest
    Calves
    Delts
    Abs
    Triceps

    Wednesday
    Quads
    Back width
    Biceps

    Friday
    Chest (flat or decline)
    Delts
    Calves
    Abs
    Triceps

    Reducing cardio to twice per week but upping the length of each session but only to 30 minutes each time.

    Trying to get it covered on our NHS so I don't have to pay private fee's. they want to MRI me in the next few weeks to eliminate certain things (hopefully), when that's done I'm hopeful they will prescribe it for me. It's just that nothing with our NHS is quick

    Official weigh in day 192.4lbs. So that's a zero weight gain despite the diet debachery over the last 4 weeks.

    No training today, a gentle walk in the sun to the coffee shop where I may partake in a skinny latte and very maybe a raspberry and white chocolate muffin

    Not shredded but can still see my top 4 abs just a little more blurred. I will know much better when all the water and shit I have accumulated has gone. That'll be tomorrow I guess but I reckon I have a gain of 3lbs fat and a loss of the same in LBM. Hopefully that should swing back in the next 4 weeks with an on point diet and new training program.

    Although in 8 days I do have a sitting to finish the ink on my left arm

    Thanks buddy I got really sick of eating what I wanted when I wanted, almost felt like a had to make it a free for all sometimes as I knew it wouldn't last. 4 days back into hitting macros's and eating fruit and veg has me feeling 'normal' again.

    I've now had a full week of lifting on my new plan and I have to say I like it. Today was

    Flat dumbell press
    Dumbell upright rows
    Front dumbell raises
    Abs
    Standing smith machine calf raises
    Close grip bench press on smith machine

    Looks alot but that totalled only 17 working sets and was complete in 60 minutes. In my old workout my flat chest wallowed my incline. Splitting it like this meant I lifted almost 20% more weight and for more reps on my flat press.

    Bailed out on all cardio this week except heavily cutting back a bay tree in my garden which took almost 2 hours including tidy up so I'm gonna use that and start gym cardio next week. Probably

    Lying leg curls
    Romanian deadlifts
    Seated neutral grip row
    Wide grip machine row
    Trap/rhomboid retraction on same machine as previous exercise
    Straight bar bicep curls

    Was blowing a bit, it's probably 5 week nearly since I trained hard. No cardio in that time hasn't helped either.

    Had a lovely curry for my cheat meal last night, probably close on 1500cals for that one meal!!!!!!!!

    I like a hood curry. I've probably only had 3 in the last year though. The best curries are takeaways but are generally much much higher in fat than any you would make at home. No curry houses in the south then? Do you like hot and spicy or just spicy?

    Had some sweet tea last week, forgot to say. Very sweet lol, definitely an acquired taste, but I reckon I could get used to it easy enough as long it was a hot sunny day. Definitely a different taste to a normal Hot cuppa.

    Forget to mention I tweaked my lower back (again) today, it's a little sore now and I'm pissed with myself because I lost my form in an attempt to get that final rep. Idiot

    Being from the south I know about sweet tea! I started drinking the Mio sweet tea and I actually don't mind it. I put a little bit of the lemonade Mio in with it and not bad. Not great but not bad. lol. Hope your back gets better quick.

    Back is definitely a little sore, there's nothing that should aggravate it until, potentially, leg press on Wednesday. It's a bummer when it 'goes' properly and can be really incapacitating.

    so the tea was sweet to you huh?? LOL it is supposed to be! did u try it with lemon i hope? u could also reduce the amount of sugar from 1 cup to 3/4 or even 1/2 depending on ur taste. i prefer it very sweet. we call it bubble gum tea as it is as sweet as bubble gum

    Yeah, I will try less less sugar next time in the Rosie (Lee). I added some lemon too, just small wedges and stirred them about a bit so there was just a hint which was nice. I think my Mrs quite liked it, she often buys ready made bottled iced tea when it's hot. She likes frappé too though which I don't.

    Weekly weigh in after my 9 day calorie deficit. Somehow I GAINED a little!! Back at 193lbs dead.

    Same weight now for 2 months, it's time to push on a gain. I am in London all afternoon and evening tomorrow but will take most of my meals and then have a birthday party at a steak and burger restaurant to attend Sauturday. I will have a work on my diet to start Tuesday but it will look something like this

    3500cals (approx 300 over maintenance)
    260g protein
    460g carbs
    60-70g fat

    Had a good workout this morning but have definitely done something to my left thumb. Even pinching a 5kg plate between thumb and fingers was extremely painful. Still, good practice as its tattoo day tomorrow
