hey guys, i've been really battling horrific gas from complex carbs (i really don't eat any simple carbs at all anymore, my body respodns much better to oats/sweet potatoes/ezekiel) and i started taking some digestive enzymes from vitamin shoppe. At first i had horrific stomach pain, but my body adjusted, and the gas has gtone the way of the dinosaurs, however it does leave me feeling slightly empty stomached which is a problem since i have a voracious appetite. For the nutrition gurus out there, does supplementing with digestvie enzymes alter the GI of carbs? making them much simpler since they are broken down faster? Also, is it ok to just take 1 enzyme a day, say in the morning, or before one of your meals in the afternoon?
