    Advice on uric acid levels

I been getting kidney stones for about 6 months, I also been on high protein diet for about 12 months. Dr says I need to stop consuming so much animal protein so I need some advice on what to do. I was thinking about trying to get 50% of my protein from protein powder instead of all of it coming from animals. I just don't know what to do. I'm gonna end up giving up lbm I think just to stay healty. Any suggestions?

High uric acid levels cause gout.
Inadequate water intake and a high intake of calcium oxalate cause kidney stones.
    What are your stats?
What does your diet look like?

Stats are 246/22%bf. down from 308/36%. 5'11" age 46. Diet for last 6 months has been 1800-2500/daily 60%=p 15%=c 25%=f mostly chicken, eggs, egg whites , rice, oats, 1 shake a day= 2 scoops whey and 1 cup oats. That's 6 days week. Not exact everyday, I eat more protein than anything. And uric acid also comes from high protein I take from everything I have seen. I also have high calcium, which I think is coming from milk. And high sodium which I know it's coming from the marinade I was using. I have stopped drinking regular milk and switched to almond milk, and I switched marinades to all low or no sodium brands. Now my kidney stones have been getting alot better, but I did 24 hr urine test and uric acid was still very high. I know about gout I don't want to get it that's why I'm asking for advice. I have switched some things but I
Taking in alot chicken and eggs and thinking I need to cut some of it out. I eat 12 eggs and 8 chicken breast a day, most days not all.

Drop the protein to 200g daily and increase carbs and fats (shoot for roughly 34/33/33).
Low carb diets aren't very healthy. And do you eat many fruits and vegetables?

Ok, so you've got fruits covered, but what about vegetables?
You just need to redesign your diet from the ground up, with health and sustainability in mind. There are plenty of guys here who can help.

Yes that's what I'm gonna do, I guess I don't have much choice. I'm pretty good with eating right though, but I appreciate helping getting my mind straight. I can substitute some meat protein with other things, nuts and so on. I been trying to get my bf back to pre truck driving levels-225/10-15% but I think I'm just gonna concentrate on get the bf down more and if I end up at only 190 that will be cool.
