I don't compete just trying to go from 225 15% down to 8 or 9 before I bulk again. Every 2 weeks? Once a month?

When I was hardcore cutting I don't think I cheated more than once or twice for over 10 weeks when I was cutting hardcore. And when I did if really felt guilty about it (I have no life). After that I would maybe once a week but... I planned it into my daily macros as best I could so as not to go over my calories. It usually meant shorting myself on protein and... I would would do extra cardio to help offset it.
Lol sounds like me. I could easily have 1 meal set me back a week, probably won't do it then
Probably for the best. Especially trying to hit those low bf numbers you want. When the bf is high it is easy to get it dropping but the lower it goes the tougher it gets.
i dont, i find a cheat meal just brings on more cravings and 1 cheat meal turns into a cheat day which evolves into me getting fat lol.
cheats are ok when done in moderation. IMO one every 3-4 weeks while cutting is ok. like said already, the lower u are trying to get, the harder it gets.. single digit bf% doesnt leave a lot of room for cheats, at least not for me. now once u get where u want to be and are just running maintenance, thats a different story. i would think one per week and maybe even 2 meals would be ok within reason. we are all different..
Longest I went was a little over two months. It really does work when we cut the garbage out of our diet for a extended period of time.
I agree with 405,
Also I am doing exactly what he says im sitting at 11.5-12% at maintenance and i cheat 1-2 meals per week and has no effect on weight or LBM or the mirror. ( my cardio is 4-5 days a week 35-45 min)
When cutting i did one every other weekend i used this on a refeed day, i didnt count anything this day. so twice a month.
I simply can not go any longer before i break. With 3 kids making them pizza and spaghetti or things like that its a task to avoid the smells and eating before i cook for them to avoid breaking down.
i treat my cheat meals as a trophy , lol .. prolly not a good idea but it works for me..
the longer i go with no cheat, then leaner and better i feel.
