yes i def use mine alot . i use mine for protein shakes with fruit as a meal supplement
i use a juicer however for veg as i tried a smoothie/blender with veg and fruit and it was fukin disgusting - juicing is a great way to get alot of veg nutrients (has amazing health benefits too )
id like to know how you make your veg smoothies ?? as the ones i made were just foul tasting slush

Only mix that I can say I can drink on a regular basis is
Vanilla protein
1/2 Bannana
Handfull of spinach
Cup of ice
Soooo good. But besides that I dont juice much, I dont like to waste my calories by drinking them. Real food is the way to go.

I used to put frozen blueberries or raspberries in my protein shakes.
Tried whizzing frozen rhubarb which was a massive fail.

Yes. Unless you just plan on sucking down sweet, fruity smoothies. I use a Blendtec and Omega 8000. Frozen blueberries, spinach, protein powder smoothies. Juice veggies but not fruit usually. I don't really love the flavor sometimes but enough peppers can make anything drinkable. After all is said and done, I prefer to chew my food. Supposed to chew juice and smoothies down as well. Slamming them down bypasses the digestive juices created by chewing and hinders digestion. Supposedly.

sure , i agree
but ive dropped the amount of meat i eat dramatically - id say it takes up about 30% - 20% of my diet now
that research info that correlated the rise in the levels of serious disease in the Philippines with increase of meat
and in the experiments with rats where they raised and reduced the levels of cancer and heart decease , at will , with meat

Any recommendations for a good blender?
is it worth spending $400-500 on one?

For liquifying there are only 2 choices. Vitamix and Blendtec. I chose Blendtec. Frozen thick smoothies can't beat a Ninja but leaves chunks if going for liquid.

Yeah not really keen on spending $400+ on a blender just yet, or though they do look good.
might look at a cheap one see how I like it

nope not at all . all thats left is pulp . there will be good stuff in there ,however most of the good stuff will be in the juice - its like when you squeeze an orange yourself . quite alot of stuff is left behind but most of the good stuff is the juice
the amount of veg you can juice is far more than the volume you can consume
