    bdos's total reboot log

    So after some down time from training and dieting its time to get back into it. This log is going to help me keep a record of my training eg regaining strength, dieting im going to be bulking not tracking cals for the first few weeks anything ill be eating will be way above what i have been getting and what im most excited about is quiting smoking, picked up my script for champix today and will be starting tomorrow.
    January 1st is my dead line i wish to be smoke free for atleast 3 months have back the strength i have lost and put on atleast 5kgs of lbm.

    First morning on champix i thought id have my dose before i get to work then have breakfast half cup raw oats and whey shake well...i was wrong! About 10mins into my drive i started getting crazy nausea i had to pull over and wait a few minutes. Tomorrow ill wait till im at work and have it with food and it was only a half dose :s

    Meal 4 spagetti with lean beef mince 2 beers.

    I know todays intake looks horrible been stuck with a cold since monday but saturday tomorrow doing a big cook get back on track.

    Cigerette total: 15 (thats half than usual)

    Revised base diet im not going 100% on this, there will be fast food probably more often then not the aim cal total is between 2500-3000.

    Meal1- 1scoop whey 1/2 cup raw oats
    60p 33c 7.5f total 430cal

    Meal2- 1cup tuna 1cup brown rice
    34p 46c 9f total 358cal

    Meal3- 200g chicken 1 cup rice
    72p 44c 9f total 439cal

    Meal4- 2scoops whey 1/2cup raw oats 2 hard boiled eggs (P/W)
    72p 34c 18f total 586cal

    Meal5- same as meal 3
    45p 44c 9f total 439cal

    Meal6- 1 can of tuna rice crackers
    31p 23c 3f total 255cal

    Protien=287g
    Carbs =201g
    Fats =50 g

    Down to 10 a day on day 4 this stuff is pretty good will be taking night dose today see if i can get some vivid dreams happening

    Smoke count 6 getting better, first day at gym in 2 months trained bi's just to feel a pump again but that was short lived as the gf forgot her keys so i had to go home

    5"5 60kg's havent changed much since the conditioning comp so theres a referance point. Down to 5 smokes today no nightmares yet from the meds.

    15 smokes today was a bit rough. Chest tonight realised how much strength iv lost failed at 4 on 25kg db press down 10kgs in 3 months. Good motivation tho dont ever want to be at this point again.

    Day 9 1mg tablets are knocking me about and the dreams are starting, last night was like my own version on jeepers creepers.

    More dreams less cravings its going well may even stop smoking before my birthday, extereme doms from gym sessions calfs are starting to tighten and can barely lift my arms above my head thought i may have torn something but no bruising. Started back on creatine this week aswell

    2 weeks down and going good, ony having time for gym about 3 times a week feel like its not enough usualy sore for a couple of days so just waiting to get used to it again up 1kg not sure where it is but thats what the scales are telling me.

    Took my dose of champix a little later than normal last night very vivid dreams nothing disturbing just odd. The earlier i take them the less i seem to have the dreams.

    day 16 no cravings anymore but the habit of smoking with coffee and after eating is still with me time to put a bit of self control into the picture

    went for a jog with the gf tonight first bit of cardio in a longgg time not short of breath or anything feeling pretty good but on the other hand this is going to be a regular thing now and not good for my bulk. i dont think i can/want to eat more.

    picking up some rubber mats this arvo and getting everything set up, smoking is almost over works been slow so being bored isnt helping very close tho dont even finish whole ones

    rubber mats in! looks good and cant wait to start only problem is old habits die hard 5 hours on the drink having fun but i know i want more. getting into the head space of what you want and how to get it is insanely hard, i have no free time where did it go?! flame me for my excuses i need a kick in the arse.

    first day without a cigerette in 6years! a little bit irratable but nothing extreme feels pretty good. diet and training still going on slow and steady wins the race .

    Good on you mate! I tried the chantix and it killed my appetite. It's been close to a year now and I'm still smoking and can't eat anything near what I used to. Before the chantix I could knock down a dozen eggs and a cup of oats in 10 minutes, now I'm lucky if I can get through 4 and half the oats before I'm ready to vomit.

    cheers man, i am forcing myself to eat but some b12 and more frequent smaller meals im getting it all in and finaly spring is here can cut out some of the sleeping in iv been doing .

    well went on a bit of a bender over the weekend, didnt smoke just got in alot of sugar other than that everything is going good.

    You will never regret the not smoking. It seems the humps for me where 3 minutes, 3 hours, 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, 3 years....after that smooth sailing. I am rooting for ya!!!

    i regret starting lol, well i dont bloat on creatine hmm i was hoping to start looking a little fuller bulking isnt easy i may have underestimated my marcos because im not seeing much of a difference..yet posting some pics soon
