    1st cycle and dieting

    Hi everyone I'll give you some background on who I am and what I'm doing

    So I'm a powerlifter and just started my first cycle. test e at 750mg a week for 16 weeks.
    Best lifts 700/450/675

    I know what some of you might be thinking running 750mg on my first cycle but I'm already a big guy.
    Weight 280# now and was 310# at my last comp back in April

    Starting in early May I decided to cut weight since I carry a bit extra. I have 2 friends that are good with weight loss. One bodybuilds and the other does strongman. Currently at 280# and I'm on the second week of my test cycle. Which I know hasn't fully kicked in yet.

    Heres my diet.

    Breakfat
    3 eggs and 3 egg whites
    3 pieces of bacon
    Coffee black with my own creamer concoction (protein, bcaas and glutamine) and coconut oil 1 tbsp

    Lunch
    2 chicken breasts grilled with half cup brocholli and 2 tbsps coconut oil

    Dinner
    2 tilapia fillets with half cup brocholli and2 tbsps coconut oil

    One protein shake (isopure zero carb 2 scoops)
    One BCAA/Glutamine shake (Xtreme Formulations ICE 4 scoops)

    The above is what I have on non training days at work. I only work 3 days a week. One my training days the meals stay the same but the shakes are different.

    Pre-workout - Iced coffee black with 2 scoops isopure, glutamine, bcaas
    Intra-workout - Xtreme Formulations Ice 4 scoops
    Post-workout - 2 scoops isopure, glutamine, bcaas and dextrose

    I also eat a cup of oatmeal an hour or so before I go workout which is around 3-5pm. I sometimes have a banana on my way too.

    Supplements besides the ones listed

    Fish oil, flax seed oil, and digestive enzyme with every meal (3 times daily)
    Multi vitamin and probiotic in the morning

    I take the enzyme and probiotic since my diet is very low carb, plus no dairy really and high protein.

    Started ECA stack2 weeks ago and will be doing 3 weeks on and 1 week off. I take an extra dose before I workout. So Im at 25mg on the days I lift. Also started doing fasted cardio. 30 min on the stairmaster at level 3.

    Pretty much my question is since I'm on gear I need to up my carb intake but I also want to continue to diet. Just curious what you think. Any advice or recommendations are appreciated.

    As a powerlifter, why are you running a low carb diet? I understand you're wanting to up your carb intake (which I think is a great idea for you), but why the low carb approach to begin with? What is your BF% at 280lbs? Doesn't look like you're eating much at all tbh...

    I want to be down at a lower bf. if I had to guess at 280 I'm at 35%

    I wouldn't cycle at 35% just my o2..


    Also I agree as a power lifter carbs should be higher!

    Man, at 35% BF you don't need to run low carbs to reduce bodyfat. Simple calorie manipulation and cardio will do it. IMO, continue fueling your workouts (which require strength more than anything else) with carbs and don't worry!

    I'm going to up my carbs especially since I'm on test for the first time. I'm just curious what you guys would recommend. I'm open to any advice you have.
