    Watermelon

Well...it's summer time , and after doing the training and cardio i came home and noticed my parents bought a watermelon, damn i started chewing on it,it was so refreshing!
Atm I'm cutting so i doubt that watermelons can do any good. My diet was totally fine till 2-3 days ago since i started eating them. I'm trying to fit it up in my macros,so tell me , is it gonna crap up my diet a lot,and should i just get rid of it?

How much watermelon are you eating?
You need fruits in your diet, so just make it fit your macros.

    This is spot on.
In the last couple months I have incorporated fruits into my diet and I feel amazing, love the taste..its like a treat, and it hasn't hindered me in any way whatsoever.

Eat more watermelon. It's the best fruit known to man and a great source of Citrulline! Take pre workout.

I respectfully disagree. You *need* vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants - all of which can be obtained from sources other than fruit. So, you don't *need* fruit in your diet, IMHO.

Having said that, I eat fruit daily because I enjoy it, and the added benefits outlined above make it even more enjoyable. I love the hydration it (particularly melons) provides, so much more refreshing than water. I try to stick with higher fiber, lower sugar choices simply so that I can eat more of it.

I've actually been eating about 1/5th of a large watermelon daily. Love it. Austin, I had no idea it was a great source of citrulline, thanks! It's also a significant source of lycopene, so I say eat up!
