2200 cals and what fruits? Banana thoughts?

Guys I am on 1800 cals off days and 2200 on days. How can I adjust fruits in my diet? I love to have oranges or watermelon etc. how will they impact my diet.

My other question is about banana. I couldn't find anything bad about bananas why they are out of our diet?

    Cheers

Eat whatever fruits you want just make sure they fit your macros!

Add in watermelon, oranges, grapes and especially berries all good choices.

Again just make sure they fit in your macros.

The only reason Banana's are out of my diet is because I have ZERO self control in their presence. I can't stop eating. I do still buy a couple once in awhile.

But there is no reason whatsoever that it should be eliminated from a diet. Nothing really needs to be so long as you're counting.

Personally I suggest you prioritize one goal over the other until you're satisfied, then slowly switch gears. In your case, it's a no brainer IMO - cut down to an appreciable bodyfat ( ~ 12%) before working on adding mass. The last thing you want to do is attempt to build muscle and wind up over 20%, blurring any lean tissue you may have built in the process.

I think bananas, etc. are fine. A lot of guys will disagree with me on this, but I stand firm: I like to localize my carbs (fruits, grains, whatever) around my workout/cardio window. Higher energy demands, higher energy intake. The higher carb intake should allow you to work harder, thereby burning more calories overall, which should be your goal.

PS - look into berries of all sorts. Generally higher nutrient density than 'traditional' fruits, with less sugar/calories. Essentially, more bang for your buck.

What's your point othello? I read that you can have two bananas instead of your per-workout drink and that will give you the same energy and power.

There are way more nutrient dense fruits out there, but I love watermelon and have been eating about 1/8th of a large one every day on workout days. Since I can't get em' year round, I feast while I can!

do this as well. I re-incorporated fruit about 2 months ago into my diet. Started off with tropical fuits liker bananas mango pineapple and also berries like strawberries etcf. Now recently I have started to go to a small produce store/stand a few blocks from my house. being in Pa close to Jersey they have plenty of local in season fruits I am taking advantage of. Peaches, blueberries, watermelons, cantaloupes all grown within an hour or so of my house. Its to the point now when I walk the guy will will be like hey I got some nice fresh ***** in today from such and such a farm in NJ. Man the seasonal locally grown fresh fruits are amazing. I have to admit I really enjoy going to this place. He does the same with veggies as well.
