Any good alternatives to Mayonnaise?
Not that mayonnaise is unhealthy, but the dang high calories are just too much...
What are you guys using as an alternative? I mainly want something to go with Chicken salads, egg salad, etc...
Cottage cheese works OK but only when I use it in a sandwich, and I'm off bread for a while...~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

We have been using more mustard in those dishes and cutting back on mayo. Or a little olive oil and mustard and she has a low this and low that yogurt with olive oil to give it a creamy texture. Not sure what else she puts in the dressing though.
Just my 2 cents.

I don't eat Veganaise but maybe... I drown everything in pico de gallo. Vinegar (Braggs) and oil. Braggs Aminos.

mozzarella maybe? Or would that be too high cal too? Mustard as was said is always a good option. You could make your own pesto etc and be able to control the exact amounts going into it.

I second the mustard. All different types and mustard has zero cals!
But I do love my mayo :/

I have seen people replace it with yogurt in recipes etc. I however have never tried this. The consistency and slight tang flavor they both have may make it work some way. If you try it let me know lol!

I just use light miracle whip. 20 calories per serving if I recall. But it may not work as a sub in some recipes.
