Why do eggs make me so darn hungry?

I swear, I could eat a dozen eggs, and 15 minutes later I am starving. Even if eggs are mixed with other stuff like chicken, spinach, mushrooms, etc... if I eat eggs, I can't get full. Scrambled, boiled, it doesn't matter.

I'm looking to sue someone here. Who's responsible??

Add more fiber. Eggs are so effectively and efficiently broken down, that you will be left hungry shortly after eating them. It's a volume issue.

Hmmm. Fiber! Baseline's favorite thing with every meal! Ok... Will do. Thanks.

Aust - Lunk is right! I have scrambled egg whites and 1 whole egg most every morning, but I mix in a bunch of green beans, asparagus, or broccoli. It works - fills me up every time. Have you tried that?

Well, I don't know about those greens with my eggs. I can probably do broccoli and spinach, but that's about it. Green beans and asparagus with eggs is just not appealing to me. But I'll get some broccoli in there!

    Thanks, Giggle!

My favorite is onions, green beans and just a little corn.
Weird I know, but I like it and it keeps me full for 3-4 hours.

My Gf turned me onto making omlettes instead of just scrambled..
3 eggs, 1 cup whites, some finely diced broccoli, red onion, diced spinach and cilantro. Mix that up in a bowl and toss it in a frying pan on medium..
Fold it in half when there's only a little juice on the top, then squish out and excess so it cooks... Man

I'm never going back to scrambled!

You got to try it. The trick is to make sure the oil is burning before you put the tomatoes in. And you can use olive oil in stead.

That looks really good, bass! I don't eat bread though. So maybe less tomato for me but dang... sure looks delicious!

Same here, less tomatoes and more eggs and no bread.
