Counting your macros
Heya I wanted to ask something about counting your macros. I'm reading Chris Acetos book called Championship bodybuilding and found a lot of good info there.
It is said in the book that you should count only protein in their most complete form meaning only the animal source proteins and not proteins coming with your rice.
I have been using this macro calculating site called Dailyburn where you can log in your foods and it counts macros for you. Is it accurate to use these kind of sites/programs?
Should I instead just weigh my chicken and use a basic guide 4 oz chicken breast is 18 grams P and 4 grams F ? By guide I mean pre weighed food items with macros like Jimmyinkedups sticky.
Is there any good programs that just let you place in your own foods and macros?

A simple microsoft excel file would work,
I count all my grams and never had a problem, your main source should be your lean meat choices.
I wouldn't think on a clean diet youd get more then 30-40 grams from your other sources depending on how much you eat and what.( not saying thats not a significant amount)Last edited by largerthannormal; 09-09-2013 at 12:34 PM.

Google Docs Spreadsheet is all I use. Works for me as I only change food about once every one or two weeks.
