Hi there
Looking to get some advice on diet. Quick back ground I'm 30, and have been lifting and training since I was 15. I'm in "ok" shape but have never got the exact body I want for how much training I do. I have trained every way possible and generally beleive i know how to train. tried compound programs, isolation high rep low rep U name it. but I'm a bit disappointed for 15 years of training to not look like a guy who actually works out hard, it's more like I look like I have a casual jog And lift here and there. I know this is probably mostly diet as im probably not getting enough protein, and eating correctly but With that being said its probably some what genetic because I have been able to stick to diets for 3-6 months 100% and not seen great results when i did. Couple examples, I did the anabolic diet for 5 months and saw no gains and only min fat loss.
I also have done various other diets and never got insanely ripped or huge.
I do think I can improve it though with more of a body building diet and I'm not sure where to start so hopefully can get some help from maybe some
Similar stories that people busted through such a long plateau.
I'm looking for what a person who actually looks like a ripped guy who trains 6 days a week to see what they eat on a daily basis
I've of course thought about using gear because of the above but would like to try a full diet first for a solid 6 months to a year to see if I can break the genetics.
But I am interested in gear, if all else fails.
Also supplements that guys are using and not just bs bro science where ever supplement company claims 20
Pounds of muscle in 4 weeks would be nice to hear some
Experience with.
Sorry for the long rant. If ur interested in helping me out please post. Would appreciate any advice anyone can give.
Thanks!
