anyone else obsessed with there blender?

so i smoked the motor out in my old walmart brand blender. yesterday afternoon i was with the GF and we went to an electronic store. for some odd reason we pass the blender isle and they have one called "the ninja" its 100$ which is beyond expensive for a blender, but i needed one and this thing had more blades on it than Super Shredder. long story short, best 100$ ever spent. quality rocks, the thing is built smart, quiet and just rocks.

anyone else in love with there blender?

LOL.. its a long story but let me just say there are more than one ninja and i just took mine back cuz it wasnt good enuff to make coconut butter. this one was $250

im gonna have to break down and buy the vitamix pro 750 thats $600 because i need the tamp to be able to make the coconut butter (which is awesome and the only reason i have to buy a $600 blender. next time u think $100 is a lot for a blender think of me

Up until last week I had a black and decker blender that I bought from Wal-mart for $40. It was great, and I used it every day for over a year, but suddenly it stopped working. I make 2 protein shakes a day in it. Well now I have had to go back to using a shaker bottle, and am stuck with dry clumps of powder and poorly mixed shakes. With a good blender it was like drinking a Frosty from Wendy's...lol

Anyway, i will check out the Ninja.

I use the Magic Bullet. Luckily I don't do any real hard mixing, mostly protein shakes. I have seen some in Costco for like $300. In a better economy I might indulge, maybe a Ninja as well. I have a friend who has one and the smoothies and shakes are great.

I'd love a Vitamix, but until then I get by with an Oster because the motor seems built better than others and I've already burned out a few others by other manufacturers.

The Vitamix is the one my friend has. It is the sh*t. But pretty damn expensive. Seen them at Costco.
