    calories while on cycle

Why exactly is it that we can eat SO many more calories on a cycle without gaining a significant amount of fat then we can off cycle? I don't understand the physiology. Take for example pro bbers who run incredible doses of test and take in upwards of 7000 cals without getting too out of shape. It makes planning your diet on cycle that much harder because your cal requirements are much different.

Androgens (all steroids ) increase your BMR (as do thyroid hormones and HGH). And since they encourage muscle anabolism and fat catabolism, most of what you eat goes toward muscle gain vs fat storage.
But there is certainly a limit to it, depending on what you're using and how much you're training.
