    Diet Critique?

    Just wondering about my own diet sheet.
    Currently 154lbs with bf of 15%. Target of 11%
    I have to re loose a load after an appendix operation and falling of the wagon slightly.
    Shooting for 1900 cals

    Decided to go zero carbs for a while and refeed on carbs after the 5th day.

    Meal 1: Cals P C F
    Cashew Nuts, 20 grams 118 4 6 9
    5 Egg whites + 1 whole egg 150 30 0 7
    Protein Blend, 20 g 69 16 1 1

    Meal 2:
    Egg 2 Whole 4 Whites, 6 Eggs 230 36 0 12
    Protein Blend, 20 g 69 16 1 1

    Meal 3:
    Chicken , 1 Portion 150 30 0 5
    Cashew Nuts, 20 grams 118 4 6 9

    Meal 4:
    Chicken , 1 Portion 150 30 0 5
    Cashew Nuts, 30 grams 177 5 9 13
    Broccoli

    Meal 5:
    Salmon, 200 g 283 45 0 20
    Mushrooms and mixed veg

    Meal 6:
    Cottage Cheese 225 32 13 3

    Total Cals 1800 ish

    By looking at your diet I can tell one thing, you love cashews.

    Just out of curiosity, have you calculated your TDEE? Before you start a diet, I personally think you should know how many calories you need in order to maintain your current weight. Even though you are smaller at 154 pounds, you could have a TDEE of 3000+ calories. So a 1200 calorie deficit would be too severe for a cut, and could result in a lot of lost muscle, which considering your size, would be a bad thing.

    Dude, i wish my TDEE was 3000. lol
    I eat the cashews because it is an easy way to get the fats in. Kind of getting to like them though.

    I think TDEE is 154lbs x 15 = 2310 or i hope it's slightly higher. On Sunday i do the carb refeed which is around 2600 cals in total.
