Protein Bread
So there is a website I've found that does all manner of food, aimed at those that want to eat a lot and healthy and I came across this, protein bread.
Per Serving (this is for two slices)
Protein: 30.5g
Carbs: 27.9g (of which 4g is sugars)
Fat: 4.8g (of which 1.1 is saturated)
Cals: 289
The only thing is, this stuff isn't cheap, well not by bread standards. It's around 3 to 4 times the price of normal bread, and about 50% more expensive that Gluten free bread. £4.50 a loaf in the UK, when you can get a normal loaf for about £1 to £1.50.
However you get 14 slices, which is 7 servings in essence.
I guess you can put protein into just about anything these days. Anyone got this stuff before? I'm thinking of ordering some.

Can you give us the brand so we can see the ingredient list I'm interested in what type of protein. Also wonder how the texture is.
Guess it could work if you just want toast but it's an expensive source of protein. I'd rather use normal bread and fill it with some chicken or eggs from a sandwich point of view.NO SOURCES GIVEN

Got it. Well, it probably makes it a complete protein with that mix of ingredients but it has way too many additives for my liking. I will be sticking to more natural sources for my protein.
It's not that expensive I guess put up against the chicken I buy. there's slightly more protein in the bread £ for lb, plus there are carbs in the bread. I'd be interested to try it just for the taste and texture. Gluten free bread texture is pretty bad/non existent so I don't expect this to be any different.
You gonna try it? Send me a slice if you doNO SOURCES GIVEN
