Have u ever heard of the six degrees of separation? Few years back I watched an experiment. Using only your personal contacts a high society woman from hamptons located an old guy trainer of boxers from Bronx. Can't recall exact details but these ppl would never have meant in daily walk. Within 4 calls the two were able to connect. Obviously no names provided just very sketchy details.

Interesting. The other experiment took 5 attempts using just the ppl you know...

I used to live on coke when I worked at the restaurant, never touched water, my fluid intake was coke all day long for years. this explains why my kidneys are fried, and why had so many kidney stones! coke is poison, still drink it but maybe once or twice a year.

I would think so as long as the ingredients are same. That's alot of sugar in soda. Even occasional diet soda is controversial to the purist. I have never seen soda company sponsor a BB competition.

I stopped drinking soda over a year ago. I think it had a big impact on how much fat weight I've lost. My glucose reading on blood tests was consistently 105-110 and is now consistently under 100. When I drink a single can now I get a huge sugar high that is unpleasant. I drink coffee so I know it's not caffeine.

I looked around my office today specifically prompted by having read this thread. More than HALF the employees had a soda in their hand. Mostly diet, as if that helps!

Anyways, I knew in my mind that coke drinking is epidemic on some level but I never really looked around me in one slice of time to count the haves and the have nots of soda. Most people have. As a random choice of time to look around and knowing how much coke the office goes through in a week I'd say that number is accurate. The guy that sits behind me drinks at least 3 per day. I'll start counting and see how many exactly he averages over the next week or so. lol.
