    Pwo meals

I am currently doing 2 a days right now with premeal cardio in the morning and weights in the evening. I have my shake after weights but should I also have a shake after the cardio in the morning or go with a real food meal? The shake is easier but I am thinking more than 1 shake per day might be over doing it.

I am not sure the amount of shakes matter but (unless these are store bought which I hate with a passion), IMO, the timing of meals is fairly overstated unless your on olympic level trying to squeeze the last bit out of everything. Now, that being said, if you feel that the pre/post shakes help you grow then keep doing them and that they fit into your daily macros.

    Thanks

if you hit your macros every day, then really no need for a shake.

shakes are great for those that ARE having trouble hitting their macros, and then in that case, they are a good idea.....

the post work out shake probably refers to the post workout anabolic window, and in conjunction with glucose (which increases the insulin spike which some can appreciate). but there is much controversy regarding this anabolic window, with studies and data on both sides of the fence supporting both positions.

I've stopped with the PWO shakes, as I suspect the body is much more forgiving/tolerant than those that promote the PWO shake might imply.....
