I can't or I get fat. Depends on your metabolism. I know some people that put Ice cream in with all there shakes and stay at 7-9% BF naturally.

I'm a powerlifter so my views and goals maybe somewhat different from most on the board.
When you start getting in the "heavy weight" range it's hard to consume all quality foods. I just try to concentrate on getting enough protein.
Here is where alot of people go wrong IMO. They consume enough proteins but not enough carbs or fats, and what happens is your body starts to break down proteins for energy(catabolism) instead of using them to repair muscle tissue. When trying to bulk this is a no no.
I'm sorry but the simple fact is:
consume more calories than you burn and you'll gain.
consume less calories than you burn and you'll loose.
So yes I believe in eating "junk" foods while bulking.
This is another point: Many people forget that it takes just as much discipline to over eat as it does to diet down. In fact many people find it harder to over eat than to diet. I'm not saying to eat a junk diet but for extra calories junk food fits the bill.

Well I'm a powerlifter turning bodyuilder and I'd have to say, the cleaner the diet, the better the results. Also what Pain said about how it depends on your metabolism is 100% correct. Some can get away with it and most of us can't.

Hell ya, my best friend is like that. Really screws me up mentally. I watch him go home and his post workout meal is pigs feet and collard greens while I am eating egg whites and all bran cereal, he has a six pack and has never seen a cardio machine, I live on a cardio machine and it looks like I just drank a six pack!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!
