Ketosis and gear
Anyone try Keto while on gear? Looking to drop fat and maintain/build muscle.
Was thinking hgh (not sure yet on cycle) and a mild run of Anavar for gear.
Thinking of doing this while eating no carbs and upping vegetable/fat intake.
Thoughts?

I am currently doing keto and a test/tren /clen (2 weeks on/2 weeks off for the clen) (was on var at 80mg a day but ran out) and I'm actually putting on muscle and dropping significant fat! I was always told it's impossible to do both, lose fat and put on muscle, but I convinced myself otherwise this cycle. T-shirts and jeans are fitting tighter than before I started this cutting cycle! I'll upload a typical day for me on the diet and pics in a little bit.

Honestly you should not be having any drunken nights while on cycle the negative the negative health risks associated with drinking or amplify x 10 while on cycle
While using steroids you should be past the point of drinking at night going out partying that period and time while you're using the steroids should be your top of the game mindset and discipline

I am 31 and after the last several years of not committing to the gym or a cycle, I decided to give it a good go, and I couldn't be happier. I don't miss carbs at all. In the leaner pic, the night before with a day's worth of food and water in me and salt and electrolytes intake (gotta keep both of those high on keto diet), I weighed 193-195 can't remember too well.
My meals for today were
Breakfast
3 whole eggs, 2 slices of bacon, pico de gallo and cheese for the eggs, butter to grease the pan, and a tablespoon of coconut oil in the mouth (also coffee with sweet n low and creamer)
Lunch
Some combination of genoa salami, cheddar cheese stick, and salted roasted almonds that gave me the correct macros
Post workout meal
(Went to mooyah burger but checked their website for average cals and nutrients per serving to make sure I was good)
Single burger, slice of american cheese, tomato slice, double avocado, bacon, mustard, mayonnaise, and onions
Dinner
salad with 1/2 cup of bleu cheese crumbles (actually too much cheese this time made me sick so will have to get fats from elsewhere next salad and just do 1/4 cup), 2 slices of bacon, balsamic vinaigrette, greek olives, sliced almonds, baby spinach and spring mix salad lettuce
2nd dinner
Gutted Jalapenos filled with regular cream cheese and wrapped in bacon
I snack on 90% cacao dark chocolate from Lindt brand (can be found at wal mart) if hungry throughout day
Sorry for not being more specific with how much cheese or how much bacon etc., but you need to find how much fats/protein you need for your current weight and goals.

My life is more than bodybuilding and dieting. I'm not trying to start anything, but I'm very happy with my life, progress, etc. I understand there are people who want to make their lives all about dieting and training, but that is not me. There was a time in my life where I was a massive and lean 205, and it took up my entire life, and it was a great feeling to end the day knowing I had eaten perfectly, taken all of my supps/vitamins/etc., but I was missing out on so much! If you're happy, then I'm happy for you

Forgive me for my other posts, I didn't really answer your question about hgh and/or anavar. I only have experience with hgh while bulking, and because it was real hgh, I actually lost fat and had significant abs while consuming meals that regularly consisted of something along the lines of steak, a loaded baked potato, and a loaded sweet potato. I was also on testosterone , though, so there's that. the keto diet plus anything that can increase protein synthesis and keep you in an anabolic state (such as var and hgh) will give you great results, because the keto diet is already anti-catabolic.

The point of the keto diet is to use a different metabolic pathway so the bad fats aren't metabolized the same and your lipid profile actually improves if you don't cheat. There were quite a few articles on this with the Atkins diet and it holds true based on my experience.

I had excellent results for cutting body fat and maintaining strength/lean mass on keto. I was on keto for 8-9 mos without a cheat meal and with TRT and some GH did very well for me. Cycled once on it and liked it but failed to be able to gain any mass.
I don't struggle like some people do on the keto diet, it seems to be tailor made for me. Downside is that long on it made it difficult to come back and eat clean with balance of carbs/protein due to fluctuating energy levels (after a couple of weeks I have steady energy levels on keto always, compared to a diet with carbs, even good ones) and digestive issues. I have been off keto for 3 months now and finally able to eat clean and not be torn up with gas and indigestion.
Had reflux really bad prior, went away on keto, even with high fat intake, returned with a vengeance on clean diet with carbs.
I like keto. I think the trick is to cycle though so it doesn't cause the problems when transitioning back to carbs.

Prilosec. One pill when the stomach issue hits and gone. Eating my fats late at night caused my gastric issues.
Lets be honest. Everyone knows you can eat dirty on Tren and still lose weight. Good point on the diet not just being for cutting fat but also to aid lipid profile
I take 50mg Tren each week for TrT and I cannot out eat its fat loss effect at 650g protein and 550g Carbs daily. Weight staying exactly constant while the obvious nutrient partitioning and fat loss in full effect. That is 50 mg a week. I cannot imagine what 500mg a week would be like. I do not get the strength bump at 50mg is the only point to note. Still get sulpher stomach which as said Prilosec fixes in one dose.
