    Semolina

Has anyone have any experience with semolina? I did some reading on this type of carb and was pretty impressed with nutrition facts. It's high in protein, and complex carb. Low in fat, sodium and simple carbs.
I was wondering if this could be used to substitute the oatmeal and other complex carbs some times.

    Isn't it cous cous?

I used to love semolina milk pudding as a kid too. May have to take a revisit.

Yea cous cous is made of semolina.
They use it in Russia a lot. Cook it with the milk and feed the kids. I used to eat this a lot when I was a kid. I saw it in one of the stores and got interested since I haven't used it for a while.
According to nutrition facts, it's pretty healthy.
I just want to know if anybody who's involved in dieting uses it as a carb source.

/> I'm on high carb diet, I noticed that I meet protein minimums very quickly when I eat pasta.
Other than that, I don't know. I prefer it to oatmeal. I eat it without a sauce, I just add some olives, flax oil, garlic and pepper.
