    Diet help

I am getting ready to run my first cycle and really want to maximize it with the right diet. Don't know alot about macros. My BF% (Unknown) is somewhat high but not terrible. I am VERY carb sensitive. Have been borderline diabetic a couple of times and been able to reverse it with carb manipulation. It seems that I have to go to almost zero starchy carbs to lose any real fat. BUT, what do I do on this cycle to make strong gains and still not add to the fat. After this I most likely need to cut. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

    Welcome musldman.

I've found if you provide some stats and goals you will get better more accurate help.

    age/height/weight/training experience

    Best regards,

Macro manipulation, if you want to gain lean mass you'll need to avoid the carbs which you already know cause you issues. An estimate of your bf would help in determining your LBM and get you a better starting point for your target caloric intake. Lean protein, fish, healthy oils, nuts, complex carbs you can tolerate in moderation like yams, oats or brown rice.

@207lbs, around 2000-2200 cals would put you in fat burning mode.

    1000 cals (250g) protein
1000 cals of carbs and fats.....maybe cut the carbs to 100g (400 cals) and the rest, fats of 600 cals (66g)

You play around with those macros and see what happens

I agree, if your about 15% bf now 2200 is a good jumping off point, watch your results and adjust accordingly, if you are carb sensitive just avoid them for the most part.

Without seeing a pic, but being around the same height.

I'm going to take an educated guess that you're higher than 15% BF.

You're probably somewhere between 20-25% - at this BF I would not cycle, risks are too high.

If I were you I would get down to about 185 first.
Figuring out your nutrition before you cycle and getting it working in your favor is going to be the key to your success with or without compounds.
