    First meal post cardio?????

What would be ideal to consume post fasted cardio if I plan to go back to sleep for 3-4 hours? Pro/fat? Pro/carb? Just protein?? Currently I'm taking in 50g whey, 4.5g fish oil and 1000g l-Carnatine.

See I still have the school of thought timing of what you eat is key because of insulin response or that carbs blunt GH production while you sleep ect. I'm no expert that's why I'm asking but I don't see how just hitting your macros for the day can be as effective. I still do but I feel what I eat and when is important. So by your school of though if you could hit your macros by eating 2 meals a day before bed it really doesn't make a difference? I know that may be an extreme example but just trying to see the point

Yes, about a year ago I was doing intermittent fasting (16 hour fast, 8 hour feeding window) and only having two meals a day. I lost weight/fat.

Now, having said that, everyone's body is different. So what works for one, may not work for another.
