Blood test- high BUN
Just had blood work done and one of my issues is my blood urea nitrogen level is high. Its 28mg/dl and the high end of the scale is 26mg/dl. I drink over a gallon of water a day and that is mainly all I drink... besides a powerade here and there and a glass of crystal light with my dinner. Is this just due to a high protein diet? stats are 25 y/o 218lbs 6'2" and I consume about 360g of protein a day.

Too much protein
Why are you eating 360g of protein, are you 400lbs?

...also, heavy lifting can skew lab results... just a thought.
Muscular exercise can cause highly pathological liver function tests in healthy menThere are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

I don't want to mess my kidneys up so should I just cut down my protein intake?
