    Recomp?

Just wondering how effective is re comping (with or without AAS [preferred without]) when trying to gain muscle and keep fat gain to a minimum.

Given a diet with 220g of protein minimum.

Recomping is as good as gaining muscle and losing fat is gonna get naturally. If you're not worried about losing fat rather maintaining or keeping it to a minimum, I'd suggest lean bulking (eating up to 500 calorie surplus)

the further along you are with your development, the less of an impact a recomp will have.

    Think about it.

If' I'm already 6' and 235 at 10% bf, a recomp wouldn't make nearly as much sense as it would if I were the same height and weight at 25% bf

once you get to a certain point in your development, most will choose to either bulk or cut.

Eating at TDEE once you are developed is more of a maintenance program
