Liquids
Aside from water of course, what is your preferred liquid of choice?
Do you stick to water and shakes, milk, or juice?
If you drink milk do you prefer Whole, 2%, of Skim?
Me personally, I avoid juices, sometimes I will indulge in a cup of apple juice but no more than 2-3x a week. I love milk, I usually go with skim milk 90% of the time. I drink a lot of water of course.
I do shakes but generally speaking I try not to fluff them up with much. If I do add something besides a minimum amount of water it will only be other foods I had planned in one of my meals anyway. For example I sometimes I add my bananas and yogurt into the shake.
Are there any other options I haven't explored? I have been dieting fairly strictly for a few years now and am just tired of the same old things and trying to explore other options.

Besides water, I sip Xtend during my workouts.
I avoid juices and milk.
Coffee in the morning with a splash of Silk Coconut milk
I drink a lot of those unsweetened sparkling waters that have the essence of a fruit in them, sometimes with a wedge of lime.

I mainly stick to water. Sometimes I'll add whole milk to my shakes or drink some oj or coffee.

I mostly drink water and full cream milk, lots of calories. I try to stay away from juice as well, too packed with sugar, and once or twice a week I'll have a glass of coke with dinner.

Water
Coffee - black, no sweetener, maybe 4 cups over 8 hours.
liquid egg white - 90% water
all my shakes are liquefied with liquid egg white
my shaker cup I take to the gym is water, maybe some BCAA/glutamine, and a pinch of cinnamon for flavor. The bcaa/glutamine is a recent thing.....

I second the BCAA/Glutamine drinks, I love them. As far as raw eggs go, I will admit that I have never tried them before even though everyone seems to have. What are the chances of actually getting gastrointestinal problems from this? I only ask because I have had a history of terrible food poison at times and I even had my appendix removed due to eating bad Korean burgers.

Water or milk is the only liquid I drink alone or add to my shakes. I usually have low fat (1.5%) milk. I rarely drink juice and when I do it is pure fruit juice with not additives...like sugar.

What about diet sodas? Any negatives to drinking them?

Water, black iced coffee, grapefruit juice, and orange juice. I also use 1 cup of whole Lactaid in my shakes.

Water is the only thing I drink. I will use Mio from time to time. Plus one glass of vodka a week when I go out with my wife.
