It's not exactly optimal. If you cant afford certain foods like chicken and steak then just do your best to overall eat healthy and not to focus on macros or protein. Just eat the best you can with what means you have available.

Sardines are quite high in EPA and DHA, and most people can use more of these essential fatty acids. They have so, so many important functions in brain health, cognitive function, metabolism, cardiovascular function, etc., offsetting inflammation caused by omega 6 consumption. In this way they are superior to chicken and beef, so I would not be afraid to add them to your diet.

I was thinking a high fish diet might not be a good idea due to the Mercury/heavy metals but after looking Sardines are one of the lowest 0.013 ppm compared to salmon, tuna and trout that are 0.100 - 0.200 ppm

I think it all depends on where you live, like in Boston Lobster is cheap or at least it use to be. I remember buying 4 LARGE live lobster for $22 Now you cant hardly buy (West coast) 2 tiny tails for that.

If you can't afford chicken - how do you live, let alone juice?

Chicken is a 1.75 a pound here for breast only(well, with added garbage).
