    Fat or Carbs?

Type 1 Diabetic & I have been on & off using a higher fat lower carb approach towards my nutrition! This is great for my blood glucose levels because carbs spike Bg levels anyway....

I want to drop bf I'm currently around 15% maybe more & want to get to below 10%

What would be a better approach to dropping bodyfat? Cutting fat or cutting carbs?

Other than a physician or diabetic with similar stats and goals, it'd be irresponsible for one of us to answer this. What 'works' for you in strict terms of reducing bodyfat, and what is optimal in terms of managing your condition won't necessarily compliment each other.

Well if I keep my Bg in check & insulin intake to work with my carb intake then all should be fine but my general question was for bf loss is cutting down on carbs better or cutting fat better for fat loss?

^^ depends on the individual. generally speaking when cutting u will be reducing them both over a period of time depending how lean u want to get.

ive done low carb and higher carb and gotten just as lean either way. i can say higher carb kept me happier thru the cut, but with u being diabetic i cant really make any suggestions other than following the diet ur doc suggests and trying to reduce cals while keeping adequate protein to support ur current LBM.

I haven't studied up on Type 1, nor do I know much about it other than just general knowledge. I think your best bet is to do your own heavy lifting and learn for yourself, then take this knowledge and apply it to yourself in a rational and gradual manner. see what works and what doesn't.

Anything I tell you would be irresponsible.

    Good luck!
