    vegetarian keto diet possible?

    hello friends,
since morning I am trying to have a diet which should not cross 30g carbs barrier
I am a vegetarian and want to try keto dieting.
my tdee is about 2600-2800 cals

let me tell what I ate since morning
100g brocolli, 50g berries, 1scoop whey, 200g tofu and 20gms of Canola oil

that the diet which I could get for least carbs

lets see the macros which i got in this
    596 calories - 27.5g fat + 34.4g carbs + 55.9g protein

day left is very less.. its 5Pm Here. I usually have my dinner at 7PM or 8 PM

now if I try to complete my protein deficiency then also I get carbs (1scoop whey has 9g carbs and 24g protein)
if I try to complete fat deficiency then also I get carbs

what should I do friends please guide me
or i should switch to non veg for the sake of my body?

It is pretty difficult todo a keto vegetarian style IMO. Is it possible? Maybe, It just would sem to me it is very hard to accomplish as keto diet macros are really right im line with meats consumption. Do you eat eggs? You may be able to do so consuming large quantities of eggs along with veg protein powder and some nuts as well as oils mixed in with your shakes.

    Yes , it's difficult but possible ..
Most of high protein vegetables has good number of carbs ..

Search for juced porkchop , a member here , he has a great physique and he is a vegetarian ..

I am on board with Jimmy .....but I guess it depends on how strict of a vegetarian you are in terms of protein choices. Whey is great for quick digestion and you can use caesian for long digestion. Would you consider eggs or egg beaters? Are you open minded to any type of shell fish or are you that strict?
