Why am i loosing size but not weight?

Started loading up on carbs for breakfast, and i mean big breakfast. Eat a can of tuna or protein shake right after my workout. These are the only things I changed besides maybe drinking a bit less soda. I'm naturally thin so I have issues packing on the weight, but I've been lifting for yrs. I noticed some shirts and jeans a little looser and people at the gym also noticed it. Jumped on the same scale I use but I have not lost a single pound. Zero change on my workouts, zero cardio, same strength.

Maybe with the extra carbs you look a little smoother but if you look smaller then you need to re-examine your diet. You need to know your tdee and your macros in order to truly track any kind of progress.

Could be combo of losing fat and increasing muscle???? Muscle takes up less space!

Ive Been lifting since I was a teen but never ever been in any type of diet. Since I was skinny, I was always trying to get big. Now at 33 I know what my body will hold as far as muscle. The most cut I've been was during basic training when I was 17. I think I'll just continue and see where it takes me. I'm at 189 but I have been all the way down to 145 a few years ago. Didn't workout for one year and was working 12hr shifts.

That doesn't tell us much. Learning to eat correctly is huge in order to really progress. Just eating alot isn't necessarily going to put on quality size.
