    Most accurate caliper formula?

    according to J3 i am 5.2, according to J7 i am 6.3 according to parillo 11.5 which one do i trust more? any of you have any experience with these sort of things that can help?

    i would think a nine point fold test would be pretty accurate, as well as a bodpod.

    No caliper formulas are accurate really, you might get close once or twice but the only way to go about getting a real BF% is a bodpod or dexa scan.

    That being said you can use the calipers as an accurate measure of progress, as long as you keep it consistent you can gauge fat loss/gain. Just have the same person do it/do it yourself every time and it'll be consistently wrong, but still give you a measure of progress.

    Yep I do what Khazima said. I would add do it the same time of day and maybe even the same day. I do mine on a Wed after work just before working out and have the same trainer do it.
