Chicken and potato ideas?
Just wondering what you guys put on your chicken and potatoes. I'm on a cut so usually salt and pepper. If I have the carbs I love some Carolina style BBQ sauce. Need some new ideas tho, hot sauce is also getting boring

do you marinate your chicken?
you could do a baked 'fried' chicken, where you grind up some almonds into a dust. dip the chicken in some egg whites/egg wash, then dust the chicken with the cajun almond dust, and bake until done. i like to turn the broiler on towards the end so that the chicken crisps up some. tastes similar to fried chicken.
sweet pots - i either do with a little butter and a splenda/cinnamon mix, or i make sweet pot fries in the oven with some rosemary and cajun spices

Marinating chicken in Orange juice and cilantro is pretty good. Also marinate in bbq sauce for a couple days, and add one habanero pepper diced per breast, makes them a little spicy, yum. Also any time I use the crock pot it's awesome, I like putting a huge bottle of salsa or two with a few breasts. Makes the chicken fall apart and it tastes so good

I like making 'Spanish' chicken.
Paprika
Garlic
Cayenne pepper
Oregano
Orange juice
A splash of extra virgin olive oil.
Mix together and smother some chicken strips in this goodness and bake. I eat mine alongside some sweet potatoes and a salad.

I just do baked chicken breasts w/paprika and butter(mostly plain and paprika or Italian seasoning/dressing)... Sweet potatoes plain as well(think they taste great)... Crockpot is always good!
But I have gotten a few ideas here
