I read the stickied thread, very helpful!

I need some advice, this is my daily intake:
3400 calories
25% protein
55% carbs
20% fats

I put on about .75lb a week, I lift 5 times a week.

Until now, I've been eating the same every day (on days I lift and on rest days too). I wanted to try carb cycling by cutting down carbs from 460grams to about 340grams for the two days that I don't workout. That'll be about 440 calories less on those two days.

My questions are this:

1) Someone told me that on low carbs days to increase fats to make up for the loss in calories. Doesn't that defeat the whole point of carb cycling? I thought the point of carb cycling was to lose some calories on days you don't lift to burn seem fat while still bulking throughout the rest of the week.

2) What is the point of carb cycling? Is it to just gain muscle on days you lift and to cut calories by cutting carbs on days you don't lift to burn some fat?

3) Is 100g less of carbs for two off days enough to see results?

Thank you for any replies

EDIT: One last question, I'm trying to manipulate my diet to get some better results now too and I heard your heaviest carbs meal should be post workout with adequate protein. Are there any other meal timing tips that I should know?
