Diet suggestions!
I have a pretty good diet but there is always room for improvement.
I recently had a biometric screen. My bad cholesterol is close to non existent. It was so low they couldn't get a number one it.
I don't have all the details at the moment, but this is most of my diet;
Chicken fajitas
-sprouted grain(high protein) tortillas
-Ground chicken
-Red, orange, yellow, green, jalapeno peppers
-squash
-broccoli
-Shredded cheese
Currently probably eating too much of this in one serving. I heard you can only absorb so much protein an hour and I'm pretty sure my serving size on this is well over that. Will work on splitting it up into smaller portions.
Spaghetti
-ground beef
-wheat spaghetti(high protein!)
-pasta sauce(no sugar, low everything really on the nutrition label)
Omelets
-Eggs
-Cheese
-Ham
-Spinach
-sometimes a little ketchup
Tuna salad sandwhich
-multigrain bread(high protein!)
-tuna salad made of
--tuna
--spinach hummus
Berry smoothies
-Frozen mixed berries
-orange juice
-blueberry yogurt
-bananas
-berry protein powder
Sliced apples with sunflower butter
Kale chickpea salad w/ Caesar dressing
Salmon, catfish, other random fish when available at my job
Snappea Crisps(A chip, but pretty good nutritional info, high protein)
Want to start adding protein shakes soon, just need a shaker bottle
Any comments or suggestions for other recipes is gladly appreciated.
Also if anyone knows the max amount of protein you can absorb in a time period I would love to knowLast edited by nameduser; 04-15-2015 at 08:00 AM.

There's no point in eating 60 grams of protein in 1 meal If my body can only absorb 40!
In that case I'd rather split that 1 meal into 2 and absorb the whole 60!
I'm wanting to bulk. It can be difficult, I'm extremely busy at least until summer starts. If I ever forget to bring some food with me I definitely regret it. My metabolism is pretty high I think even for my weight.

what? who says the body can only absorb 40g?
i eat only two maybe 3 meals a day and get about 160-200g of protein a day, and only eat between 1230-830.
meal timing has nothing to do with it, unless one is wanting to perform better in an activity/sport/etc. at that moment.
what are your stats? have you figured out your TDEE?

My TDEE is 3200-3600 depending on the week.
I eat at least 4000 calories a day.
It is still difficult to put on weight. Whether it be fat or muscle. If anything I've lost 1-2% fat over the past year(More definition and veins visible)

It probably dude to our different eating habits. I eat from wake to sleep. Small meals, snacks, occasionally big meals.
If I don't eat every 2 hours my stomach starts yelling at me. I can sometimes make it a good 4 hours if I eat a really big meal.
In my workouts I usually try to focus on opposite upper body and some form of legs.
For example, chest/middleback/calfs, shoulders/traps/squats, arms/power cleans
Usually my workout lasts only about a half hour, but I do supersets and work quickly.
Unfortunately my lack of time in a day due to school and work sometimes interferes with how well of a workout I get.
I have not seen these big boy workouts, do you have a link?
