    Chicken thigh vs breast

Hi guys, i find it really hard to eat chicken breasts as theyre so dry, but when i cook thighs i actually find i enjoy eating my food, is there a lot of difference and would it effect me much with my diet?

They taste better because of the amount of fat in them.

It's easy enough to add things to your breasts for taste and moisture. Also, don't cook them so long they go dry.

How do you cook your breasts(boil/bake/grill)??

I'll bake mine(but either slow cook em/or bake on 400 for about 20min(as long as the juice is clear its g2g - and putting in a tunber ware container or some tin foil over the pan when done) keeps my chicken breast nice and tender...

You could always throw in a few pieces of thighs w/skin to cook w/them - say in a crockpot to get more flavor...

I rotate between thighs and breasts (doesn't everyone) when I cook up large amounts. What I started doing with breasts is to cut a couple up into bite size pieces before cooking, then pan fry them in EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) on medium heat for about 12-15 minutes. Season them up ahead of time. I use lemon pepper seasoning and Real Lemon juice, dump it in the pan with your EVOO and they're done quickly. Makes it easier to pre-mix your meals later as well. Saw this on you tube, tried it and liked it. I usually do a second batch immediately following the first and the cooking time can be cut back a few minutes.

I also like to switch up...

Kel, you like to pan fry them? I may have to look into that... I'm good eating bland(but I use paprika/lil butter(or spray butter) but akways bake... I use EVOO as well w/all or most of my cooking!

What's your take on frying rather than bake/or grilling??

try "marinating" them with milk...I was told this by one of my friends wife and It dose make them a lot more moist but I just didn't care for it but its worth a try....also as someone said don't over cook them, that makes a huge difference....

I pan fry a lot anymore and like it. Chicken the way I described as well as steaks all the time. It's just a quick and eash way to cook them, imho.

I buy a 5 lb bags of 6oz chicken breasts separated frozen . The nuware oven cooks breasts frozen 8 minutes on each side and they stay juicy . Seasoning is good I change favor often . I paid 100 bucks for the Nuware oven . Just thought I would chime on something that works for me

breast are cleaner source of protein with less fat, thats why they are more dry. Try cooking them in some sauce to make them more moist.

Sauces sounds like added fats???? What kind of sauce you have in mind?
