I am doing the palumbo diet. It says to do 1.5g of protein and about .5g of fat per pound of body weight. Now I weigh 160 and want to cut fat, don't care about size at the moment till I'm much leaner. But if I follow that formula, that's about 200g of protein and 80g of protein a day and no direct carbs. That's about 1600 calories a day. That just seems low, but is this correct or is there a better range for this diet? I'm guessing my BMR to be about 2400 a day
