Any suggestion on freeze dried food to eat when 4 day back packing or what to eat

Healthy food to carry in my back pack when back packing no way to chill ? Only carry a gallon of water and should I lean to more carbs as opposed to majority protein since 10 hrs a day of non stop calorie burning ? MRE's are not a FKN option ! !

Should I consider more fresh fruit ? ie. bananas, apples , oranges , nuts and berries ? Can haul frozen meat for 1st night and possible egg beaters for 1st breakfast of the trail and what to eat for meat ? ? ? ? Not a fan of dried jerky ?

Any experience welcome to advise me ?

I have room ? Just water is a Gal and a qt. to carry and get the rest on the trail .

I think IMHO I will be able to eat more Carbs and still be looking for energy with a steady 10 mile a day pace ? Not counting breaks and FK off time ! I like my sleep gear but may change to hammock and netting ?

I think it is going to be amazing for the steady walking and extra weight ! Will use muscles I have been missing

Will is still need majority protein or for this period of time will carbs work due to extra amount of steady caloric burning all day and then good sleep ?

for 3 days and 3 nights , 1/2 a day on starting day and end last day about 2:00 or 3:00 if all goes as planned .

Last day would like a big good breakfast and no idea ?

Dinner will be only the 1st night ?

Bunches of canned Tuna and Chicken
Bunch of green Bananas
Blue Berries
Nuts
Apples even Oranges
Good ole Peanut Butter
Protein Powder
Homemade Protein Bars
Frozen bacon for Breakfast 1st morn
One guy even said Freeze Egg Beaters and maybe Breakfast and lunch 1st day ?
Try to kill a snake and cook it ? Sounds strange but lots of snakes in North GA

I have humped a pack for over 20 days and sucked it up and got by ! This is for pleasure and to enjoy ! Not to suck it up and hurry up and be through with it ! It is medication relaxing and exercising at the same time and good times and good memories ! Not I am hungry ! I want anything to eat ! lol, Mates are sailors on a ship and I am a Marine not a Mate except to women and then I am a Mate

I still want more variety and different meat for the end of packing ? Anymore ideas out side the box that are obvious ?

Do you even know how to clean , gut , dress , a squirrel which happens to be a rat with a fuzzy tail ? ? I do and that is a lot of work for little meat and no guns in a National Park ? ? I kill the 8 or 10 a week and feed to my dog raw !

I think you need a come back to reality ! There are no guns allowed in National Parks and I stated earlier I kill Squirrels weekly ! I did not share that I had cleaned and ate them also so don't be a dick because you are slow to understand the difference between back packing and squirrel hunts .
