Diet Critique Por Favor
Been a while since I posted in here. Looking for some help as you guys have always been very gracious and informative.
Stats:
6'5" 235lbs 16%BF
Goal:
Cutting to 10%
Fasted cardio 3x per week
Meal 1
50 Pro - Egg Whites
60 Carb- Oats or Gluten Free pancakes
5 Fat (trace)
485 Cals
Meal 2
50 Pro - Lean White meat
50 Carb - sweet potato/ rice
150g of blended kale/spinach/broccoli
5 Fat (trace)
445 Cals
Meal 3
50 Pro - Lean White meat
50 Carb - sweet potato/ rice
Sautéed green beans (no fat)
5 Fat (trace)
445 Cals
Meal 4
50 Pro - Lean White meat/ or egg whites
70 Carb - sweet potato/ rice
5 Fat (trace)
525 Cals
Workout
Meal 5 (PWO)
50 Whey Pro w water
200 Cals
Meal 6 (PPWO)
50 Pro - Lean white meat
Sautéed green beans (no fat)
5 Fat (trace)
245 Cals
Meal 7 (pre-bed)
50 Pro - Lean Top Sirloin or Casein Shake w Unsweetened Almond Milk
20 Fat - From the steak or from Natty PB in the shake
380 Cals
Total Cals -> 2725
Being that I'm cutting and workout in the evening, I do not eat carbs PWO or PPWO. I have begun subscribing to the theory that it's not necessary to ingest carbs PWO/PPWO if the workout is after 6pm. If I workout before 3pm I will ingest 50g Karbolyn with my PWO whey shake.

UNless you're taking insulin i don't see the need for wasting your money on karbolyn

In summery:
350 grams pro
230 carbs (not including veggies)
45 grams of fat
That looks good to me. What are you using to sauté your veggies?

I'd up your fats to 60g and lose those cals from the protein.
Don't subscribe to any theory that carbs at night time are bad for you. I train in the morning and, when cutting, consume a big % of my carbs in my last meal of the day so I'm not training on 'empty' the following morning.NO SOURCES GIVEN

No carbs in my last 2-3 meals seems to work really well with me when it comes to cutting. Since I'm cutting and hitting my macros earlier in the day there's no reason to have carbs in the mid-late PM anyhow.
I cook with no-fat coconut oil spray
Why is that your stance on Karboyn? Are you saying this is Karbolyn specific or that carbs in general PWO aren't necessary?

the only way any oil is non-fat is by reducing the the serving size to something nearly impossible. I think for a spray, they say the serving size is 1/3 second burst. Just keep that in mind if you're spraying for a solid 3-4 seconds. But like BIB said, you could probably use more fat anyway. At least 50g ed.
