You're going to have to be more specific.
There is no "best" diet, but the general rule of thumb is to calculate your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) and your level of activity. This will determine how many calories your body needs every day to maintain your current weight. From there, you can add calories (bulk) or subtract calories (cut). Then you divide the total daily calories into macros (protein, carbs, fats), traditionally at a ratio of 40/40/20. There are online calculators that can help you do this more easily. Just do a Google search.
The topic becomes infinitely more complicated beyond this, and there are MANY variations to the above formula. It's going to take a bit of research, but be patient and do your homework and you'll be just fine. Also, don't overthink things. Start doing a program, track your progress, and adjust things as necessary.
