Should I eat more food? currently on 3k a day diet
I'm 135 and I used to be 108 and grind every single one of those pounds I gained. I'm currently on a 3k a day diet 150 grams of protein.
I'm seing some terribly slow gains, I figured at my weight it would be easy to gain at least to like 150 but so far it hasnt been the case.
On the flipside I got to keep my eight pack as I bulked which I am happy about this has been in the span of a year
I concentrate on strenght training and keep adding more weight to my lifts every week or every two weeks.
My goal is to get to 160 at the very least

If you're not gaining .25-.5lb per week then try adding another 100-200 calories a week until you are.

And up your protein by 30 - 40g per day

Well I am gaining about that a week so I guess I'm doing alright? given that my fat percentage hasnt gone up by pretty much anything

Yeah but you get to be my weight as a man you just want it to hurry the hell up so youre not skinny anymore, for obvious reasons lol

I'm eating 3 k calories on the dot and only gaining half a pound a week one pound when I'm lucky. I count my calories and weight my meat of course and I make sure to make it mostly real food and No My Supposed surplus is 2.6 k yet I was on that much and didn't gain a single pound for 3 months so I upped to 3k

A half pound to one pound a week isn't bad. When you have a rapid weight gain, it's most likely mostly fat or water. Id rather have lean muscle gain than to gain fat and cut back to close to where you were at. You just need to play around with your diet to see what works best for you and to dial it In

Just keep doing what you're doing, by the sounds of it you're making good steady progress and just need to continue to be patient.
