weight rebound after a long tedious cut

Hello all. So as some of you may know, i did and am still in the process of doing a crazy cut from 260 to 192 as of tonight. My calories were super low, around 1800 a day minus a days cheat and it worked very quickly ...maybe 4 months. Now, ive tried normalizing my intake so today i had 2 protein bars, a double shot coffee with 20g protein in it, a tuna sandwich from subway with cheese and i just had 2 eggs and a can of tuna. My weight is slowly starting to creep up and the whole weight loss has lost momentum these past 2 weeks. In normalizing my caloric intake, is there some sort of rebound since i was on such a deficit during my cut? I still wake up feeling dry and shredded but the scale thinks otherwise. I cant be gaining muscle since im almost 70 lbs into this cut...or am i? Ive been having more sodium from the sandwich and drinks but not thattt much...my carbs have increased...today it was at 140 which is pretty high compared to what i was at..

my clothes dont fit any tighter...if anything ive gone from size 33 to 32 jeans recently (38 to 32 overall).

My calories are at around 2000 now... compared to the previous 1800 and even 1500. With a 40 40 20 ratio

    Thoughts?! Thanks

In general you may have a fluctuation due to water and aodium levels. It can be surpirisingly substantial if you were really in a caloric defecit.

What may help is to create a diet that suits you and stick to it. It appears that you may have a Hodge-podge of items in your diet now, with no real structure.

Break down your eating schedule into roughly 6 meals that can provide you protein/carbs throughout your day. This is, imo, the best way to moderate your diet.

Its not so much of a moderation problem for me i can eat less, but ive been eating at harmfully low levels and now i want to normalize that a bit. As for calories, i know i stay at a deficit...but could it be that my meal timing isnt well put together? Does it matter if i lump it into maybe 3 meals as opposed to 6? Because a subway footlong, 2 protein bars and some tuna and eggs (most of time i substitute it for sweet potato and chicken breast depending on how my carbs look) dont seem like much food.

I would say your not eating enough at that rate. Don't worry about the couple of pounds u gain getting back up to your maintenance. I would go back up to about 200 cals under maintenance and the. Slowly taper back down as u already have. Some one told me ones that it's hills and valleys not just straight up or down. Keep that in mind and keep working hard.

Thank u guys i appreciate the replies. Today i ate: a quest nutrition bar, a tuna footlong sandwich with veggies no cheese on wheat, a small/regular sweet potato, 1 lb ground chicken breast, 1 cup nonfat chobani greek yogurt mixed with a scoop of whey. This set me at a littttttllleeeee over 2000 calories. Is this good? 205g protein, 157 g or so carbs and 70 g fat.
