    Sticky Rice

    HI guys

    I live in Thailand and love sticky rice is this ok to eat as part of my daily diet ?

    I normally have White steamed Rice or Brown Rice.

    Sticky rice has about 21g Carbs per cooked cup full.

    Is this as good as any other rice we eat ?

    It is ok I suppose but there are better rice choices. Sticky Rice is also known as sweet rice because it has a very high gluten content. It depends just how particular you want to be. Big pic it probably wouldnt matter much and sweet rice is fine. If you are wanting to be super strict and picky you would be better off with another rice choice.

    Speaking of rice - is white basmati rice ok?

    Man its one of my favs. You should try brown basmati sometime too, it is awesome. I also love Jasmine rice as well. Great stuff.

    I do eat a lot of Brown Basmati rice your right it is very nice, my girlfriend makes sticky rice all the time and I can help taking a little every now and then just didn't know how God or bad it was so tried to stay clear from it I will stick with my Brown Basmati rice and treat my self couple times a week with sticky rice
