    protein per sitting while 'on'

how much protein per sitting while on?

last night i think i ate about 100g of protein, but it was only because i really wanted a steak after my shake.

by the 1.5 rule i need 285g of protein per day. how do i know if i'm consuming too much protein?

i know people that don't eat too much protein and still build. i don't want to be stuffing my face with protein...

per the standards i'm held to, My BF is determined by neck size and waist size. value of BF = waist circ - neck circ.

so with a 17 inch neck and a 35inch waist, i'm 16% BF. this is why i want an 18inch neck.

I used some kind of dry pod device once. that think put me at 14 BF, but my neck was 15 inch and i was 180. my organization said i was close to 18%

you're saying i should consume 255g of protein, yes?

i could post a photo, so an eyeball determination can be made. it's not like it mattters though. my standard and how it's measured is set in stone

What are you trying to do? Cut or bulk? You have good definition and size already. I think if you cut and get leaner it will make you look even bigger

    I don't really have a meal plan.

For the last 5 days i've had steel cut oats, coffee, a protein shake, and BCAAs every morning. about every 2 hr i eat about 25g of protein and BCAAs throughout the day.

sometimes i'll have a steak for lunch, or dinner. i'm also eating chicken sandwiches because they are delicious
I eat rice sometimes, but it's not a regular thing. also drinking at least 2.7L of water a day

my buddy meal preps. he says he cuts his chicken breasts and steaks in half, so that he has at least 2 servings of meat a day. he said he buys 8 pieces of meat and cut up they make 16 servings of meat.

    16 servings lasts 8 days.

i have Tupperware to do it too. -thinking about doing it

Yes your going to have to start somewhere. Take your protein and carbs. Divide them by the meals you want to eat each day and separate it out. Fats as well and I would eat greens 2-3 times Ed with your meals especially on a cut

Op, listen to bio. This man knows what he's doing. I would also invite you to check out this thread, http://forums.steroid.com/diet-nutri...right-now.html

Look at the last 10-20 pages, specifically at bio's posts, what he eats over a day's time, how often he eats, and the amounts. This will give you an excellent snap shot of what your diet should look like for the purposes of cutting.

so how does one prepare the sweet potato?

I've got canned sweets and steel cut oats available right now

this is all boiling down to counting food group grams and converting them to calories. something i don't want to mess around with. i think i'll figure out how many grams of sweet tatters i should be eating in a day as they are different then Bio's. i'll do this once and guess from there.

don't steel cut oates have an even lower GI then sweet tatters? i could mix things up

If you have canned, use them. I'm all about using what you have on hand, even when it may not be ideal. Ideal doesn't necessarily mean unusable.

200-300 grams in the microwave 7 minutes. Gives it the texture of a russet potato. I don't like them cooked in the oven makes the texture more like a yam
