Worried, Gained 12.5 pounds in 3 days.
Before a few days ago, I have been holding a steady AM weight of 213 for weeks now,
wednesday morning workout before leaving town i weighed 211, i took a 2 day vacation to see a few buddys, returned last night
this morning at the gym i weighed in a 223.5, that 12.5 lbs in 2 or 3 days.... I could not believe my eyes, so i went home and checked my own personal scale and it also confirms it.
What the heck?

Did you eat a watermelon?
Are you pregnant?
Could be water and a lot of back up.

why am i holding so much water (or fat,i dunno?)
back up to 221, albiet pm weight.
also, i finally outfitted myfitnesspal and put everyone of my food items and meals in, i mean right down to the brand and amount of salsa i put on my eggs.
strangely enough iv been getting around 1750 calories a day for a year now, minus friday, cheat day.
why cant i lose this water/fat?

If you were eating low carb and then high carbed, then you probably retained water.
Look up what a carb is made up of

1750 calories a day may also be the problem. If you say 500 carbs on Friday that is 2000 alone plus some protein. You are at 215 or so then you may look at the TDEE calculator and see what you calorie intake should be. I cycle carbs as well and had the same issues and I found it due to water retention. You body may have gotten comfortable at 1750 so increasing them a bit for a little while may help you start loosing weight.

Are you on any medications? The only answer to your fluctuation is fluid retention.

Happens to me all the time. Just recently was out of town for 3 days, did not really pay attention to what I ate , and came back 12lbs heavier. Once I get back on my diet , it usually yo-yo's for a few days but within a week I'm right back to where I was. I always kinda thought it was due to water retention from high sodium levels due to eating unhealthy.
