    Need help with heathy snacks

Well i dont but my wife does. She's a private chef and just added an athlete as a customer. The team has them on a very healthy diet with lots of restrictions. She has the meals down but he wants snacks for when he's driving and busy. Do you guys have any ideas on what she could make? I'm assuming he wants something more than you could buy at the store like nuts etc. He likes exotic foods. We're both stumped on what she could make. She will know more next week but she'd like some ideas to throw at him and see what he thinks

Jerky whole wheat crackers... My staple is grilled chicken breast sandwiches on whole wheat in a pinch

^This is a good idea. BIB has a great recipe in one of the stickys above.

I'm a big foodie when not on cycle, and deviled eggs are big now on the west coast.

They're insanely good if you use homemade mayo and truffle oil.

    Love deviled eggs!

I'll have to try truffle oil, been experimenting with sirrachi in them, tastes awesome

I ment to say when he's in a rush, not my wife but her client. Those are some good suggestions though! What would you guys consider something as a "snack"? I mostly just eat my meals and have a shake here and there or nuts or fruit or something in between meals. I dont mind using my hands just grabbing chunks of chicken, fruit or what ever. i dont care if my hands get dirty. She's going to be paid fairly well so I'm assuming he's going to want something prepared with a nice presentation? maybe we're over thinking this. She's making Thai basil Chicken lettuce cups. is that considered a snack or a like an appetizer?

Well that would matter his diet. To me my snacks are meals most of the time. Except for almonds (eat about 2 cups a day) and smart popcorn 1 serving

Yeah same here. That's why it just threw me off. I'm assuming his "snack" is just a small meal. For breakfast he has a 12 egg omelette with a whole onion. Whole pepper and a whole package of mushrooms. With a yogurt and two grapefruits. So I'm sure he's not going to be satisfied with just nuts as a snack lol
