    Cutting diet percentages

Considering cutting diet of ~ 40/40/20 if I calculate my protein needs per lb of LBM, and maintain carbs at 40%, the end percentage ends up being 48/40/12. P/C/F.

Would you stick with this to cut body fat or adjust fat up a little and knock down carbs?

Will use chicken/fish/lean pork/occasional lean beef for lean protein
Oats, brown rice, yams with occasional Ezekiel bread for complex carbs
Olive oil, nuts, fish oil for fats
Broccoli, green beans, cauliflower, green leafies for fiber and uncounted carbs.

    Thoughts?

You need more fats, it helps out with your body's hormones

Try keeping fats at 20% and adjust your carbs and protein to where you feel is optimal.

Percentages are a complete waste of time, IMHO. Enough Protein, 1g/lb of lean body mass, around 60-80g of fat and rest carbs. These percentages should be erased from the Internet Pipes.
