PWO Carbs Dextrose Vs OAts
What's you're preferred source of carbs after a workout do you swear but the simple sugar insulin spike or do you go with something healthier and fulling and more notional value like oats in your shake ?

Isn't oatmeal slow digesting? I prefer something fast digesting like some white bread or similar. I'm an easy gainer so I heard I should...and I try to keep it lean after workouts. During workouts I'm drinking water with bcaa and glutamine along with a scoop of Gatorade powder. So during workouts I'm getting my dextrose and carbs. I try to limit my direct post workout to just a protein shake with maybe some honey. Then and hour or so after the shake I'll have a meal with either slow or fast digesting carbs

mine is usually a shake and white rice. Not too filling and I can eat a couple hrs later.

I like my shake after my W/O unless I am going to eat dinner then shake comes later.
